Controls Engineering Head

Location: Laguna

Key Responsibilities

  • To prepare material and control specification related to PCB and electronic components
  • To prepare and build PCB and electrical parts for prototype units for evaluation and testing
  • To study and research on new technology and conduct product benchmarking among competitors and own products and create proposals for product development in the future
  • To develop and collaborate with highly valuable suppliers, partners, academe and professionals that will help build CCAC R&D house 2021
  • To provide the necessary training development program in order to equip the people with the Technical skills needed for competency development on controls
  • To prepare & evaluate technical drawing/ specifications using available software used in product development
  • To work in conjunction with advanced product and technology development and look at new technology trends in the market , conduct scanning of competitor  activities  in order to come up with new products and technology roadmap in order to identify the products and technology that will be developed and manufactured by CCAC in the future.
  • To continuously support various process and product improvements, alternative material selection, cost reduction and other value engineering works in order to produce better quality and cost-competitive product in order to meet the company target.
  • To provide technical support to internal and external customers regarding issues that arise from production/ field complaints relating to the product by conducting investigation/field job, market feedback and technical analysis and recommend solutions and improvements

Requirements

  • Graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering course; With PHD or Masters on Power Electronics or equivalent
  • With or without license
  • Extensive experience on the PCB hardware design and/or programming software on any of the following: Altium Designer, Power PCB, Visual Studio, Code Composer Studio, Source Insight, NI LabView Development System, LabWindows ID, MS SQL Server 2012 Standard, IAR C Compiler, CodeWarrior C Compile, STM32 Cube C Compiler, NetBeans IDE, Eclipse IDE, Atmel Studio IDE, Mentor PADS , PADS Flow, Cadence ORCAD, Cadence Allegro, Zuken CADStar, CAM350, AutocAD, Solid Works, CREO, and Coreldraw
  • At least 10 years working experience on actual appliance electronic PCB hardware design and  software design

To design and prepare PCB layout, schematics and select components to be used for air conditioning controllers. To specify, review, test and evaluate engineering related electrical / electronic components, schematics, PCB layout, component selection, etc.

To create, compile and debug PCB related software used for the air conditioning controller. To create electrical/electronic test qualification map that will comply with international standards, EMC, safety and other related standards
