Senior Data Specialist and Developer

Location: Metro Manila

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Viz: Presenting information using visualization techniques
  • Data Extraction, Integration: Identify valuable data sources and automate the collection processes
  • Data Curation: Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
  • Data Science / Analysis: Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Present information using data visualization techniques.
  • Proposes solutions and strategies to business challenges
  • Experience using business intelligence tools
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Work with business units in handling their data / reporting requirements

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Others) or equivalent
  • Preferably Has 3 to 5 years’ experience in ETL, Data collection, Data cleansing, Reports and Dashboard development
  • Building / Updating data warehouse using Integration tools like Talend or via script, Databases like AWS RDS MySql, AWS RDS maria DB, etc, Unstructured database or big data storage like example S3 buckets for text, images and videos and Athena to read the data
  • Has strong business acumen, as well as an ability to communicate findings, and mine vast amounts of data for useful insights
  • Preferred but not required: Has 1-3 years AWS Experience and background.
  • Knowledgeable in SharePoint is a plus

He or she will play a key role in working, spearheading work on CIC/Corp-driven data projects. The position will focus on developing data-driven solutions that consists of (But not limited to) Data Integration, Data Curation, Reports and Dashboards Development and Analytics.

Work with the head of Corp-IT Data in building data architecture, pipelines and data models that will address business problems.
